Balance Billing

  • If the stated amount you owe on your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from Trustmark is LESS than what your medical bill states, DO NOT PAY IT. Submit the bill to the link below. Trustmark will handle the balance. 
  • Once you pay your doctor, it’s too late and you won’t be able to recover the extra cost.
  • Typically the extra amount will be listed in the “Other Adjustments” column on your EOB. You are NOT responsible for this, as stated directly on the EOB. See screenshots below for an example.
  • Submit Balance Bill
